Biography  Have graduated from the NCRTP-HepC in 2009, Stephen is currently waiting to defend his thesis. During his wait he has found employment as a medical writer for a multimedia company that provides training and continuing education documentation for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.

Testimony  Since being accepted as a doctroal trainee in the NCRTP-HepC program my experience as a graduate student has been enhanced through the large network of mentorship that forms its core. I have met outstanding doctors and scientists that are defining the cutting edge of Hepatitis C Virus research in Canada and all over the world. I am honored to be part of the next generation of researchers in Canada that are making the novel discoveries that lead to better management and treatment of this disease. I believe the diversity of expertise in this program is one of its prime strengths. I find myself part of a network, including social scientists, biochemists, medical doctors and lay members, that creates a synergy that is powerful and effective in providing a brighter future for those that suffer from hepatitis C.
