Biography  Ivan is a postdoctoral fellow in the cDNA microarray group of Professor A. M. Edwards and Dr. Ian D. McGilvray. He is working on the design and analysis of gene expression experiments using DNA microarray technology.

Ivan received his MSc. and PhD in Physics from the University College London, London, UK. His thesis title was “An eikonal model for multi-particle production in hadron-hadron scattering? His research interest is in statistical computing and development of novel software tools for use in computational biology.

Testimony  The National Canadian Research Training Program in Hepatitis C (NCRTP-HepC) has provided me with a great opportunity to interact with other scientists interested in the field of HCV. I believe that a better understanding of molecular mechanisms behind a complex disease such as HCV can only be achieved through a close collaboration between basic and clinical research scientists. NCRTP - HepC program is unique in that sense that it provides just such an opportunity.
